Started in retail during a planned career transition, supporting sales operations, inventory management, and store technology needs. Transferred to the Charlotte Repair Shop in Jan 2019, where I detailed, inspected, and prepared rental instruments for return to service. In Nov 2020, transitioned to the Burlington Repair Shop as a Stringed Instrument Repair Technician specializing in repair and refurbishment of violins, violas, cellos, and double basses, with additional work on guitars, mandolins, ukuleles, and banjos.
For 14 years, I worked in Training and Development for a large healthcare system (~6,000 employees), supporting both the technical infrastructure and instructional delivery of enterprise training programs. I designed, developed, and maintained the organization’s custom learning management system while serving as the sole technical resource responsible for supporting online, classroom, and hybrid education initiatives.
My class project for Database Design and Programming was adopted by the Aquatics Department at the YMCA where I worked to track employee training, certification, and other records of note (e.g., write-ups, verbal warnings, and positive notes).
